After WSRB inspects a property, we assign it a risk number.

Recording a risk number for a property can save you time when you use our Risk Search product because you can use the "Risk No. Search" function and quickly get results for a specific property. If you already have a risk number, find out how to use the "Risk No. Search" in this article.

What do I need in order to search for a risk number?

To find a risk number for a property, you need at least an approximate address, including the hundred block, street name and ZIP code. An exact address will make your search easier.

How do I find a risk number with an address?

1. Log in to WSRB.com with your user name and password.

2. Hover your cursor over "Loss Cost" and select "Risk Search."

3. You'll see the Loss Cost Look Up screen:

4. In the Map Search box, enter the street address and city into the box and click "Locate." Do not use suite, apartment or other unit numbers. For example, for 2101 4th Ave., Suite 300, Seattle, WA 98121, enter "2101 4th Ave., Seattle, 98121." Results will include a map and appear as shown below. The risk number for this address is 2118.

How do I find a risk number if I don't have an exact address?

1. Log in to WSRB.com with your user name and password.

2. Hover your cursor over "Loss Cost" and select "Risk Search."

3. You'll see the Loss Cost Look Up screen:

4. Click on the + next to "Advanced Search."

5. The less information you enter, the more results you will get. Try starting with "From," "To," "Street name," and "Zip." 

6. You'll see a list of all the available reports for addresses matching your search criteria. To see more detail about an address, click on the + next to it. Results will appear as shown below and include the risk number for each property.

What do I do if I still can't find a risk number for a property?

If you can't find a risk number for a property, the property may not have been inspected yet.

If you ordered an inspection, you can track its progress by logging into WSRB.com and going to Track Inspection.
