What’s included in the Location Information Report?
The Location Information Report offers a wealth of critical information to help you assess a property’s risk factors. Here are the key sections you’ll find:
- Search Results
This section provides essential details about the property’s location and emergency services:-
- Location: The exact address entered in your search.
- Fire District: The fire protection district serving the property, key for understanding local fire coverage.
- County: Indicates the property’s county, which may influence zoning and risk factors.
- Responding Fire Department: The fire department responsible for emergency services at the property.
- Hydrant Within 1000 Feet: Indicates whether the property is within 1,000 feet of a hydrant, a factor that can influence insurance premiums by reducing potential fire damage risks. Learn how hydrants impact premiums.
- Tender Credit: Shows if the community has mobile water supply systems, qualifying them for tender credit even when hydrants are distant. Learn more about tender credit.

The fire protection capabilities of your property are determined by WSRB’s Protection Class ratings, which assess factors like fire department quality, water supply, and communication systems. Accessing this report is easy! Follow these simple steps:
- Log in to Protection – Start by logging in to the Protection tool on the WSRB website.
- Enter the Address – Use the search bar to input the property address you want to assess.
- Click the Orange PDF Report Link – Once the search results load, click on the orange PDF Report link to generate the Location Information Report.
- Tip: If you want to include BCEGS scores in your report, make sure to enter the BCEGS year when prompted.
- Download and Save – Once the report is generated, you can view, share, and download it for your records.
